Gateway 505

Gateway 505 is a multifamily building in downtown Salt Lake City. After a water loss, Apex rebuilt the affected units and the shared corridor between December 4 and December 23, 2025: wet materials out, then new LVP and base, herringbone carpet tile in the corridor, and restored kitchens, baths, doors and trim.

Speed matters most on a flood loss, because every day a unit is down is lost rent and a displaced resident. The work was sequenced unit by unit so each one could go back to the property as soon as it was done, with the corridor finished last so residents were never without a way home.

Apex also handles ongoing interior and exterior repairs, garage and bike storage repairs and hallway expansion-joint work at Gateway 505, so the property has one contractor who already knows the building when something goes wrong.
