TPO re-roof, exterior repaint and unit fencing at Sun Plaza, Albuquerque

Sun Plaza is a 152-unit, two-story community on Montgomery Boulevard NE in Albuquerque. Apex re-roofed the buildings one at a time with new TPO systems in 2024–2025, and also delivered the clubhouse, concrete, sidewalks, trash enclosures, breezeways and stucco work.

The brief

Replace failing roofs across the community and fix the site and amenity items residents see every day.

The challenge

Occupied two-story buildings, rooftop units to protect, and sub-deck damage that only shows once the old roof is off.

What we did

Tore off and installed TPO roofs building by building, replaced damaged sub-deck sheathing and RTU curbs, repainted the exteriors and installed unit fencing across the property.

The result

New roofs on every building completed, with site and amenity upgrades finished around them and residents at home throughout.

Sun Plaza is a 152-unit, two-story community on Montgomery Boulevard NE in Albuquerque. Apex re-roofed the buildings one at a time with new TPO systems in 2024 and 2025, replacing damaged sub-deck sheathing and rooftop-unit curbs as they were found.

Before and around the roofs, Apex also delivered the clubhouse and clubroom work, new concrete and sidewalks, trash enclosures, breezeway repairs and stucco patching, so the property’s visible items were fixed along with the roofs.
